Andre Dela Pasion, economist and digital transformation specialist

Hi, I’m Andre Dela Pasion.

I’m an Economist, Business Development Leader, and Digital Transformation Specialist with more than 15 years of experience connecting economic insight with practical business strategy.

What I Do

My work spans fintech, digital brokerage, e-commerce, telecommunications, and academia. I help organizations modernize, streamline, and scale their operations by improving processes, strengthening customer experiences, and building effective partnerships.

  • Digital transformation: Designing practical systems and workflows that reduce friction and improve operational efficiency.
  • Process optimization: Streamlining client management, KYC, onboarding, payments, and service delivery.
  • Customer experience: Using platforms such as Zendesk and performance analytics to strengthen support, retention, and service quality.
  • Vendor and partner management: Managing BPOs, merchants, and client networks to improve service-level performance.

I have worked with market leaders and organizations including Lazada, Circles.Life, MyTrade, and Transcom. My experience includes creating online onboarding and e-payment workflows in fintech, as well as building in-house and BPO customer-support ecosystems for international telecommunications and e-commerce brands.

Academic and Research Background

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas. My dissertation examined the spatial spillover effects of transportation infrastructure on Philippine economic growth under the guidance of Dr. Manuel Morga.

I also earned a Master of Arts in Economics, Cum Laude, from the University of Santo Tomas, where my thesis focused on seaport facility efficiency. I completed my BSBA in Economics at the University of the East as a scholar of the City Government of Makati.

My academic specialization includes spatial econometrics, regional economics, and comparative economic systems. I have also taught economics to undergraduate students at the University of Santo Tomas and Adamson University.

Current Focus

Over the past five years, I have developed a deep interest in cryptoeconomics and tokenomics. I continue to study and analyze the mechanics of decentralized blockchain economies, with a focus on understanding both their high-potential opportunities and their complex challenges.

Let’s Connect

I’m open to consulting opportunities, research collaborations, and projects involving economic analysis, digital transformation, business development, operations, customer experience, and blockchain-based economic systems.
